Staged at the original Little Andromeda in November 2018, The Lifestyle was a 6 cast throwback to the 70’s, as we followed the story of an ill-fated swingers party and the characters’ quest for their own self discovery. Full of satire and comic relief, The Lifestyle had audiences both grooving and rolling in their seats.

Dylan Thomas’ masterpiece was given fresh voices in February 2020. Set true to form as a live radio play, the poetic work was played out by 13 talented cast members taking on multiple roles each to bring the larger than life characters of Llareggub to the microphones. The loft of the Pegasus Arms was the perfect setting to host the piece, with the noise of the bar downstairs providing the appropriate atmosphere for the whimsical seaside town.

Our pioneer foray into the immersive theatre realm, The Last Martini has been described as a ‘supreme success’ (Backstage Christchurch) and ignited the super sleuth in audiences night after night. Set in the incomparable Riccarton House in 2021, audience members got to explore the house themselves in an effort to discover who the murderer was in this 1920s themed whodunit.

Having discovered Christchurch’s lust for interactive theatre, we took our 2022 major production one step further. My Nightmare Wedding was a fully immersive experience, where the audience (as wedding guests) roamed from room to room discovering one disaster to the next and even helped to make sure the wedding day went ahead by fixing a wedding cake, writing vows, looking for a long lost dad and even searching for a missing turtle!

Juliet & Romeo enjoyed two critically acclaimed seasons in Ōtautahi, first in 2018 then again in 2019. Originally performed with 20+ actors, our show featured three performers, all desperately trying to keep up with the tyre-screeching speed, the rich and challenging plot lines and the pressure of nailing a gosh darn THEATRE CLASSIC...in exactly 45 minutes.
